Hey, I'm Henrik,
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted to Norway at a young age. I started working with art at 19 as a self taught painter. I have spent the last 15 or so years travelling and living in Spain, Italy, Mexico, and London. I have this year half-way returned to Norway, living in the mountains with my wife. Here I am continuing exploring art and the evolving nature of my life, unravelling the past and planning for the future.
I started out as an oil painter, and it’s my strength, but I have since dabbled in digital painting, sculpture, ceramics, collages, drawing, filming, performance, photography, and poetry. I work with several galleries across the world, and hope to expand my work further into new techniques and concepts.
My work generally revolves around existentialism, absurdism, alienation and nostalgia. Art has been a tool for me to deal with trauma in the past and continues to be instrumental for me to fully connect with my emotions and understand myself and the world around me.

Style development
You’ll develop your own visual language through intuitive sketching and personal exploration. We’ll discuss how creativity is sparked, nurtured, and refined and why your story matters.
Mastering Alla Prima
From preparing your surfaces to choosing colors and composing a piece, you’ll be guided through the essentials of oil painting including step-by-step studies of the eye, mouth, and hand.
Course Content
The course has 5 modules for 7+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and children because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.Â
